About Judicap

Judicap was founded in 2003. The name is short for ‘Judicial Capital’, the status of The Hague as host of international courts and tribunals and centre of law research and peace studies.

Over the past two decades Judicap has in a variety of ways contributed to the dissemination of knowledge about the history of the Oeuvre de la Haye over the
past century and a half, and including the Hague Peace Conferences and the role and record of Hague-based institutions.

Judicap has published major scholarly studies
for academia and popular booklets for a much wider audience. As of 2026 the name Judicap is continued as the academic imprint of the new firm Clémart, based in Germany. (www.clemart.de)
International law books
At the invitation of IGOs and of Embassies, Ministries, Universities and private parties we have arranged exhibitions from St. Petersburg to Perth, from Moscow to Colombo, and at such international venues as Vienna, Strasbourg and The Hague.
On behalf of the Hague Municipality we have produced catalogues, guides, and pamphlets, powerpoint and video presentations.
